Life is filled with moments that we can’t comprehend: the confusing, the baffling, the ridiculous and the amazing; slashTHREE decided to outline these surreal moments by creating an exhibition based around the most surreal of them all, Déjà Vu.

The collective’s eleventh release produced a series of conceptual, mind-boggling pieces of art that pushed the artists’ abilities to the limit.

Mexican artist Eduardo Lopez, one of slashTHREE’s senior artists, used his signature matte painting style combined with the conceptual nature of the Déjà Vu theme to produce five incredibly diverse artworks, earning him his peers’ vote as featured artist for the exhibition.
